End of Term 2 Community Update
Kia ora koutou,
As we come to the end of Term 2, I would like to take the opportunity to thank our students, staff, whānau and wider community for another positive and productive term at Foxton Beach School.
It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm our students continue to bring to their learning each day. Across the school, our literacy programmes have remained a key focus, with teachers working purposefully towards the achievement targets set for this year. It is encouraging to see the progress being made as students continue to build their confidence and skills.
Attendance has also remained a strong focus. Regular attendance is one of the greatest contributors to student success, and we appreciate the ongoing support from families in ensuring students are at school, ready to learn.
One of the highlights of the term was seeing our kapa haka group proudly represent our school at the recent Kapa Haka Festival. Our students performed with confidence, pride and enthusiasm, showcasing not only their talents but also the values of our school. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved and extend our sincere thanks to the staff, whānau and supporters who made this opportunity possible.
There have been many other successes throughout the term—from classroom learning and sporting events to cultural activities and leadership opportunities. These experiences help create the rich learning environment that makes Foxton Beach School such a special place.
As we head into the winter break, I encourage everyone to take some time to rest, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting term of learning in Term 3.
Thank you once again for your continued support of our school. Together, we continue to create a place where every child can learn, grow and thrive.
Thanks,
Rob Easton

Just to let you know that Whaea Pare is not available for parent interviews this evening. We will ensure your child's reporting information is shared with you and arrange an opportunity to discuss their progress early next term. Thank you for your understanding and support.
